What is a Data Table - Examples of Data Tables in Engineering
Mar 28, 2023
A data table is a means to arrange data into an information format. When data is processed, arranged in such a way that satisfies certain queries, it is known as information. The basic idea of arranging data into information format is a field and record concept. A record consists of several fields giving information about a specific Item. Fields are attributes or subject items of a record. Data tables are collection of records arranged as rows of the table while columns of the table represent fields of these records. Engineers need to use different data tables to do their routine duties. These data tables include a wide variety of tables from trigonometric, logarithmic and statistics tables to thermodynamics and material specifications.
